A thick, frosty shake with jammy strawberry, toasty peanut butter and warm cinnamon over a creamy homemade oat milk base.

Strawberry Peanut Butter Cinnamon Oat Shake

Ingredients

  • ½ cup40 gOld-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1⅔ cups400 gWatercold
  • 1⅓ cups200 gFrozen strawberries, unsweetened
  • ⅔ cup sliced100 gBananasliced
  • 2 scoops40 gWhey protein powdervanilla or unflavored
  • 2 tbsp32 gPeanut butter, no salt added
  • 1⅛ tsp3 gGround cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp3 gVanilla extract

Steps

  1. The night before, stir the oats into the cold water in a jar, cover and soak in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
  2. Pour the soaked oats and their water into the blender and blend on high for about 1 minute until smooth; this is your oat milk base, and it stays in the blender.
  3. Add the frozen strawberries, banana, peanut butter, cinnamon and vanilla to the oat milk in the blender.
  4. Spoon the whey protein powder on top of the fruit so it doesn't stick to the bottom, then blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds until thick and creamy.
  5. Divide the shake evenly between two glasses, half in each, pouring over ice if you like, and serve cold right away.
