Every Helping Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how Pythn Development (“we”, “us”) handles consumer health data in Every Helping, on the website and in the iPhone and Android apps, as Washington’s My Health My Data Act requires. It applies to consumers in Washington, and we give people in Nevada and Connecticut the same choices. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.
2. What we collect, and why
- Your log: the foods, recipes, meals and drinks you log, with their amounts and nutrients, the water you log, your goals for calories, carbs, protein, fat, fiber, sugar and water, and the totals we work out from them. We use it to show your log and how your day compares with your goals.
- Profiles you manage: the same, for a child or another person you add to your household. We use it the same way, for you as their parent or guardian.
- Meals logged for you: when someone in your household cooks and logs who ate, a share of that meal in your log. We use it to complete your log.
- Your dishes: the meals you ask us to remember, with their foods and grams or your usual servings, for you and the profiles you manage. We use them to log those meals again in one tap, and to offer one when a meal photo shows it.
- Meal and package photos: a photo you send for a nutrition estimate. We use it only to make that estimate, then discard it.
- Your products: the packaged foods you log by barcode or read from a label, and the amount you logged last. We use them so the next one is a tap.
- Goal groups, only if you share: in a goal group, the goals you set there and, for each kind you turn on, your weight progress (your weigh-ins, kept to work out your percent), your calories burned and workout minutes by day, and how your food goals are going, from your log. We use them to show your progress and the group’s.
- Recipe choices: nutrition targets and foods to leave out that you pick in the recipe generator, which can suggest dietary needs or allergies. We use them only to write the recipe you asked for.
We don’t collect diagnoses, medications, glucose or precise location, and we don’t infer health conditions. We receive your weight and activity only if you share them with a goal group. If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect and turn on your weight or calories burned, the app reads your weight, or your active and resting energy and workouts, there to show on your phone; they stay on your phone unless you share them with a goal group, and then only daily amounts are sent. What the app writes there is your own log, which you already keep with us.
The app’s optional modes keep their health details on your phone, and we never receive them: the diabetes and glucose mode reads your blood glucose from Apple Health or Health Connect, only while it’s on, to show beside your meals; the GLP-1 mode keeps your medication log, your notes for each day and any weight you type. None of it is sent to us, to an AI provider or to anyone else, unless you share your medication log and notes yourself as text from the app.
3. Where it comes from
From you; from Apple Health or Health Connect on your phone, when you share with a goal group; from the person in your household who manages your profile or logs a meal they cooked for you; and from our own calculations, which use USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts.
5. Your consent
We start your log only after you agree to keep one, and we record when you did. We ask before a photo goes to an AI provider. Otherwise we collect and share consumer health data only as needed to give you what you ask for.
We share your consumer health data with the members of a goal group only after you agree, in that group, for each kind: weight progress, calories burned and workouts, and food goals. Nothing is on until you turn it on, and we record when you chose. To withdraw that consent, turn the switch off, which deletes what it shared, or leave the group.
To withdraw your consent to keeping a log, delete your account, or email us to delete your log. We then stop collecting it.
6. Your rights
- Know and access: ask whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get a copy, with a list of everyone we’ve shared it with and how to contact them.
- Delete: use Delete account in the app or on the website, or email us. We delete it from our systems, tell our service providers to do the same, and it leaves our backups within 30 days.
- Withdraw consent: as described in section 5.
Email [email protected] to make a request. To protect your data, we confirm it’s you with a code texted to your account’s phone number. We answer within 45 days, or tell you within that time if we need up to 45 more. Requests are free up to twice a year.
If we decline a request, reply to our answer to appeal. We answer appeals within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you can complain to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
7. Changes
We will post any change here with a new date and, if it’s material, tell you in the apps or on the website. We will ask for your consent again before using consumer health data in a new way.
