Every Helping Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“terms”) are an agreement between you and Pythn Development (“we”, “us”) for Every Helping: the website at pythn.app/everyhelping, the Every Helping apps for iPhone and Android, and their services (“Every Helping”). By using Every Helping you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and, if you buy a plan, the Subscription Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Every Helping.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and in the United States to create an account. Children and teens may be added only as profiles by a parent or guardian (section 4).
3. Your account
- You sign in with a US mobile number and a code we text to it. Use only a number you own or are allowed to use.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your phone secure. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or in the website’s account menu.
4. Households, cooking together and cooking groups
- An account holder can invite other adults to their household and add profiles for people who don’t sign in, such as children. A household has at most 6 people.
- You may add a child or another person only if you are their parent or guardian or otherwise have their permission. You are responsible for the people and profiles you add.
- Send invites, by link or by text, only to people who know you and would expect them. Don’t use invites to send spam.
- When you cook for your household, the people you pick see what’s cooking, and logging who ate adds a share of the meal to their logs. Log only for people who ate.
- A table link shows the recipe you served and your first name to anyone who has the link, for 8 hours. Share it only with the people at your table.
- Anyone with an account can start or join cooking groups of up to 50 people. What you post or add in a group, such as notes, recipes, cook nights and photos, is visible to its members.
- Post only what you have the right to share, keep it about food and cooking, and don’t post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual or misleading. A group’s owner and admins can remove posts and members, and we can remove content, people or groups that break these terms.
- You can report a post or comment, or block someone: you won’t see their posts, comments or photos, and they can’t invite you or text you through Every Helping.
5. Text messages
By entering your number, you agree to receive a sign-in code by text. By asking us to send an invite, you confirm the recipient would expect it. We don’t send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts from our sender, or contact [email protected].
6. Health, nutrition and food safety
- Every Helping provides general information for planning meals and keeping a food log. It is not medical advice and is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Talk to a qualified professional about your diet.
- Nutrition figures are estimates and can differ from what you cook or eat. Photo estimates show a likely range and can be wrong, so check them. Always read ingredient labels, especially for allergens, and follow safe food-handling and cooking temperatures.
7. Generated recipes and photos
Recipes and photos made by the recipe generator are produced automatically and may contain mistakes. Photos show what a dish could look like, not exactly what you will make. Check every recipe before you cook it.
8. The recipe book
- Recipes made by the generator, and your own recipes you choose to share (section 9), are saved in Every Helping’s public recipe book, without your name or phone number, and may be shown on the website and in search results.
- As between you and us, we own the recipe book and may use, adapt and share its recipes and photos.
- You may cook, print and share any recipe for personal use. Don’t copy the recipe book or the library in bulk, or republish them commercially, without our permission.
- Photos you share of dishes you made are shown publicly with the recipe, without your name. You keep them and give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to show, resize and watermark them on Every Helping until you delete them. Share only food photos you took, with no people in them. We may remove any photo.
9. Your recipes and posts
- Import only recipes you have the right to copy for your own use. Imported and changed recipes stay in your own book, seen by your household unless you keep one private, and by a cooking group only if you share it there.
- You keep what you add, such as recipes, notes, posts and photos. You give us a license to store, copy and show it to the people you share it with, only as needed to run Every Helping.
10. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Every Helping. For example, don’t:
- scrape, bulk-download or automate requests to the website, the apps or their services beyond normal personal use;
- get around free limits, rate limits or other protections, or use more than one account to do so;
- interfere with or try to break the service, or access it without permission;
- resell or sublicense Every Helping or a plan;
- use Every Helping to harass anyone or break the law.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
11. Plans and payments
Paid plans are covered by the Subscription Terms. Payments on the website are processed by Stripe under its own terms. When plans can be bought in the apps, those purchases are processed by Apple or Google under theirs.
12. The app stores
- If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and, to the extent the law allows, has no other warranty obligation for it. We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims. You may use the app only as the App Store’s terms allow, and only if you aren’t in a country under a US embargo or on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
- If you got the app from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply.
13. Our content and feedback
Every Helping, its design, software and content belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Every Helping as intended. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
14. Third-party services
Every Helping relies on third-party services, such as app stores, payment, text messaging and hosting providers. We aren’t responsible for their outages or problems beyond our reasonable control.
15. Changes
We may change Every Helping or these terms. If a change is material, we will post the new terms here with a new date and tell you in the apps or on the website. Continuing to use Every Helping after a change means you accept it.
16. Disclaimers
Every Helping is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Every Helping will be uninterrupted or error-free.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Every Helping is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of Every Helping or your breach of these terms.
19. Ending these terms
You can stop using Every Helping and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Every Helping. Sections 8, 9, 13 and 16 to 21 survive.
20. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law, and you and we waive class actions. Either party may bring a claim in small-claims court. Any court proceeding will be in New York.
21. General
These terms, with the Privacy Policy and the Subscription Terms, are the whole agreement between you and us about Every Helping. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
22. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected].
