- 1 tbsp10 gCornstarch
- ¾ cup180 gWater

Steps
- Soak the rice noodles in hot tap water for about 10 minutes until pliable, then drain and set aside. (This soaking water is extra and not part of the listed water.)
- Make the chili garlic sauce: in a bowl, whisk the water, low-sodium soy sauce, honey, lime juice, cornstarch and red pepper flakes until smooth.
- Heat half of the canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in one layer and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque and 145°F (63°C); move to a plate.
- Add the remaining half of the canola oil to the skillet. Add the carrot and cook 2 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Push the vegetables aside, add the garlic, ginger and green onion whites, and stir 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir the chili garlic sauce again, pour it into the skillet and simmer about 1 minute until glossy and slightly thickened.
- Add the drained rice noodles and the cooked shrimp and toss 1 to 2 minutes until the noodles are coated and hot.
- Off the heat, drizzle with the toasted sesame oil, then top with the green onion greens and the sesame seeds and serve.
