- 1 cup130 gAll-purpose flour
- ¾ tsp3 gBaking powder
- ¼ tsp2 gSalt
- ⅔ cup110 gSemisweet chocolate chips

Steps
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square pan with the canola oil and line it with a parchment sling.
- Roughly chop the dry-roasted peanuts and set them aside; you will use half of the chopped dry-roasted peanuts in the batter and the remaining half on top.
- In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter, the creamy peanut butter and the brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
- Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla, until the mixture is thick and creamy.
- In a small bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt to make the dry mix, then fold the dry mix into the peanut butter batter just until no streaks of flour remain.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the chopped dry-roasted peanuts.
- Spread the batter evenly in the pan and scatter the remaining half of the chopped dry-roasted peanuts over the top, pressing them in lightly.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until the edges are golden and a toothpick in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan on a rack for at least 45 minutes so the blondies set, then lift out with the parchment and cut into 12 bars.
